Sq ft ÷ by 10 = maximum occupancy.

its much easier for us not enough caffeinated folks to keep things straight when posters make their own threads about coop and run size.

The answers all follow the same general rules, but the implementation differs according to specific circumstances.

With a removable partition, yeah, you should be able to put two in there with some wire between them till they are sued tot he flock/the flock used to them, and eventually remove it, leaving the whole integrated flock the extra space.

Similar to people putting large dog crates in their run to aid integration while ensuring that establishment of the new pecking order isn't a life threatening or life impairing experience.
