How many chickens do prefer in your flock ?

i have the room , i have the coop but my chicken are in brooder and incubator.... i hope i have 20-25 chicken(i want 30 but this is for next year)

I don't have a specific number. Right now I have 17, and that's enough for the winter. However, in the spring I'm hoping to get 2 dozen Freedom Rangers. Of those chickens, I want to keep maybe 7-8 hens and a rooster so I can keep that flock going. I also plan on keeping my laying flock. So, yea, the number of chickens I prefer depends entirely upon my frame of mind and the time of year.

I have 7 ducks right now but maybe 5 would be better but if I had a big pond I would have like 15-20.

I have a Mallard and a Pekin they had duckies so I have some Hybrids.

I'd love to have way more than I do. Right now I have 35 but hope to have 50 for next year. That's probably about all I will have room for. I sell the eggs and actually have more customers wanting eggs than I get from the 35 hens. So they pay for their own feed and make me a small profit as well. It's a fun hobby and how many hobbies bring you enjoyment and make you some money.
