Did the count last night after I rehomed 4 hens and a roo. We now have.......
adults: 13 hens, 1 roo
12 weekers: 4 hens, 2 roos
Chicks: 5
Pipping eggs: 1
Setting eggs: 8 (turkey)

WOW that is 50 chickens!!!

We have two large coops/runs 20x20 a brooder and 2 grow off pens!!

I better get busy selling some of the babies!!!

Count them? Really? Some people can still COUNT them? That's just silly. They won't hold still. Besides if I counted then I could answer that question, which wouldn't be at all beneficial. I have exactly as many as I NEED. Therefore the perfect number. All is well.

That number of course includes all eggs (chicken and turkey and guinea) in the bator and all the June shipments of eggs. Because of course I NEED those too.

We're planning on giving about 6 of them to a neighbor, though... so that will leave us 25.
