how many chickens do you have ?

I have 14 now but i started out with 2 lol how about every one else? Chickens are so addicting!

Starting kinda small. 28 chickens and 6 turkeys. 11 of the roosters will be dinner.

Right now I have 7 laying hens, 1 EE pullet, and a silkie(hoping she's a she, but don't know yet). The problem is that I keep finding different breeds that I just love!

We started with 6 (hens only). We now have 49 (the original 6 plus 38 3-month-olds and 5 2-month-olds). Of the 49 though, 17-ish will be butchered (excess roos) and 4 or so pullets are going to my mom. I think we'll end up with 25-ish hens and 3 roos.

VERY ADDICTING!!!

Actually, I started with about 30 - over a year ago. Added a dozen Ameraucanas and some home-grown mutts 8 weeks ago. Oh, and some 4-H pheasants 7 weeks ago. THEN 16 silkies & showgirls nearly 4 weeks ago. So, I have a WHOLE LOTTA chickens!!!!
