How many chickens do you have?

I have 16 right now. One rooster and fifteen hens, so I obviously need to buy a few more pretty roosters, right?

Oh yes and then you'll discover you got 1 too many roos and need to buy more hens then you won't have enough roosters and need more of them. Rinse and repeat.

5 right now. 2 Leghorns, 2 ISA Brown, 1 Australop. The whole family is crazy about them, and we would like to expand. Hoping to add 2 Wyandottes, 2 Marans and 2 Silkies or Polish, just for interest. They are addictive!

10 as of an hour ago, a friend just begged me to take her hen because she had to move house and the new place wasn't safe for her. I started out with 3 then I joined this site and got abit addicted, I have limited space so am controlling myself till I find the breeds that I want

I have about 300 chickens and 25 ducks give or take. It is hard to catch them still to get a good head count. Lol
