A couple of the BR's (probably Zoe's....LOL) are WILD! They discovered the food and water and have been zipping back and forth between Mama and the food! I checked on them before coming in and 2 of them are trying to jump on Copper's back and one was grabbing her ears and she was just closing her eyes and taking it
Poor Copper, she may never go broody again after this bunch!
We had a bantty brood about 17 of them last year at one time. All my hens laid a community nest and one poor hen was elected to hatch and care for the resulting clutch. By the end of the season we still had 13 from the clutch. Good Mama...
