I purchased my first chicks (RIR'S) two weeks ago. I ended up buying twelve chicks and have just fallen in love with them:love. I have had such a good time with my RIR's, I have ordered 20 Red Sex Link pullets, which are due to arrive sometime in May. Now that I have put some thought into this, I have realized that I am going to have 32 chickens!!![IMG] Have I over done it?[IMG] I think I have chicken fever!!![IMG]

Well we are in the process of finishing our second coop and don't tell my husband but plans for a third on working in my brain. Once you get started it is hard to stop! One good note: I have been bringing eggs to my coworkers at school everyonce in a while and today they would not let me leave with out paying for them. Not what I had intended but it is kind of fun to say I sold my eggs today!!

Just make sure you have coups and runs for them, they grow FAST and need room to run around in.
