How many days before a hatch do you order eggs?

I just started the hobby of hatching.

I have some local breeders for hatching eggs, but not a huge selection. If I need to order eggs on ebay for an upcoming hatch, how far in advance do people usually order their eggs? 1 week?

I'm not sure what you're asking. They'll take 3 weeks to hatch from the time you set them, assuming you mean chicken eggs. So you order them and say you receive them 4 days later and then let them rest a day before setting them so you are looking at hatching apx 26 days after you ordered them.

ETA my 4 day estimate is assuming they already have collected eggs to ship. You win and pay that day (say, Sunday). They ship the next day (Monday) 2-3 day priority mail, so you receive them Wednesday or Thursday. You let them rest for 24 hours and then set them Friday or Saturday. They hatch apx 3 weeks later, on Friday or Saturday.
