You really do have to do them correctly to achieve the full benefit, and not eff up your knees.
I'm pretty sure my knees are already partially screwed up...and I'm going to guess that I'm doing the squats correctly because it's not bothering my knees at all.
 
I got bad knees and a hip that goes out regularly. I need to go see my back Dr and have him tell me what workout would be best for me. The last thing I wanna do is get myself hurt and not be able to do anything. That seems to be what happens to me every time I decide to actually "work out"
I am thinking of doing something more like this.

The absolute best thing that I have ever done for my knees was to buy a lift chair. Before I got the lift chair, I was getting to the point where I could just barely get out of the recliner or up off of the floor. Since I got the lift chair, my knees no longer hurt constantly. I can walk good again and it is now possible to get up off of the ground without a struggle.

I see that in my future😓. But I refuse to buy a lift chair at 41 years old! :old maybe a shower chair though. That would be nice. 😝

I've decided that I prefer to do short quick little workouts throughout the day.

I can't workout for 7 minutes straight Shaw.
I did do about 40 of those butt lifts before I got the giggles and quit.
