How many different kinds of Silkie are there?

We have one white silkie, Marshmallow, and we LOVE her! She is so sweet and soft and the cutest little chicken ever! One thing interesting about the silkies is that they have 5 toes on each foot. When I first saw Marshmallow's foot, it was quite a sight!
And they were the original black skin chicken. Unlike the ACs they do have colored feathers but their skin, meat, organs and bones are black.
I was surprised by the craze of the ACs since silkies have been in the states for decades.

I have a group of 4 solid white silkies. Only one is female. Two roos have the walnut comb, but one has a large single straight comb, ( all are with black skin, feet, etc) The Roo (straight comb) is much larger and IS NOT Poly-dactyl, and has NON feathered feet. What the heck is it? I'll try to upload pics asap. Thought of selling him, but maybe I should keep? What type am I to call him? Anyone seen this? Maybe a Leghorn & Silkie mix?

So I have seen or heard of cuckoo, porcelain, lavender, and all sorts of different kinds.
My questions are:
1) can anyone post pics of their odd (non-recognized colored) silkies?
2) how did you get this color?
3) Just how many varieties are there?
I am just curious, as silkies are my favorite breed!
