get pvc weather tubing. the spongy black stuff that wraps around the pvc pipes, or just give them warmer water for winter.

It is very difficult to keep these from freezing in the winter. Water stays in the cups and freezes very easily. Some of us have tried. I don't know of anyone that has succeeded in temps 20 degrees or lower.
