Ya'll I had to show off my Runner duck egg I got today that'sView attachment 3340941 a quarter laying next to it.

So happy to see one is at least laying!!!

I’ve gotten a bunch of chicken fart eggs but never a duck one! It’s so tiny!! I love how nice and green it is too!

I am soooooo Blessed. I did threaten to eat them if they don't lay, lol. I think its the pressure I put on them. lol I figure when January comes the water glassed eggs will be opened. I will let you know then how that worked out.

I got my first egg for December this year. I believe from the size and shape it came from my 4+ year old Rouen. Still waiting on first eggs from the May hatchlings.

I got my normal two eggs. I found a fake bright orange egg that was normal weight of a duck egg and put it where my Mallard was laying her eggs that I gather daily. Now whatever else is laying is no longer burying them in the mud and laying them beside it. Thank Heavens and I hope she keeps it up. I still gather them daily but leave the fake one in the nest to encourage them to keep laying them there.
