How many duck eggs did you get today?

So sad for y’all. We’re going to be hot this coming week one day showing 90 but after all it is summer so as you can see I don’t believe the hog wash about climate change. It isn’t the first time we had 90’s. Hopefully Texas as other states that are suffering will soon be done with this heat. Sept is right around the corner.

I totally agree with you Miss Lydia. Weather has always been unpredictable no matter where you live and you are right, it will be cooling down for all of us verry soon.

0 duck eggs. Only got a handful of them all year. Guess the 5 yr olds are mostly done laying? Young ones are only 3 1/2 months old.

After the broodiness in early Spring, mine seem to think they're done laying.

Muscovy have a nest going, one broody sitting on them. I think there are 19 eggs in there.
Chickens need to talk to them, I need more duck eggs for eating!!!

104 when I put them up at sundown. This is insane. I want to bring them in the house but 15 would make a mess.

Poor babies, try and keep as many containers of water out for them plus pools. Do you run a fan in the coop?

I cannot set that up because the puppy would chew the extension cord . Our official high was 112 yesterday. I guess it was warmer in town with all the students moving back in.
