How many duck eggs did you get today?

Got two more today, so seems like three of my six girls are laying.

SEVEN! (But one is a fairy egg) and one has the scratch type markings on it which to me looks to be from an older duck i think . And that’s great because a couple of my eight-year-olds have been walking like they got a full diaper load… hoping this was the relief

Fifteen yesterday and eighteen today. Spring is definitely coming, Violeta, Buffzilla and Tweedledee had to be bribed with some meal-worms and tomatoes to release their eggs.

It is a mixed bag with my ducks: The runners run away, loudly quacking when i roll tomatoes into their direction. They tell me they don't like tomatoes at all! But when i put tomato wedges into the supper bowl, they dive their little heads right into the soup and go for these tasty morsels. They are like kids who would never bite into an apple, but love that sweet pastry with that @pple sauce filling…
Blanca Duck on the other hand knows the word »tomato« and in conjunction withe her name, like "Blanca, tomatoes!" she comes running back from Timbuktu to me at break-neck speed. She loves those little cherry-tomatoes that fit into her bill and can be squished, filling her whole mouth with that delicious taste!
