None again. They all gave up. Even the chickens are laying less.

Yup. Ducks don't eat their own eggs (that I've noticed) and the chickens only do if I forgot their calcium (egg shells!).

And believe me, if anyone came onto the property I would know! Between the geese and the dogs, it's a wonder I can still hear!

Don't think we have egg-eating snakes here (although I do think one got two newly hatched chicks), but wouldn't rats also attack the birds?

I honestly, from past experience, think it's just the season. One of the reasons I got the Brahma and Chantecler as they are supposedly good winter layers.

2 from 6 x 2024 ones who have just started practicing laying a fortnight ago.
