Another 3 inches of snow overnight, but the ducks keep consistently producing. Although 2 eggs isn't much, it's still greatly appreciated.

I haven't had any since late October or early November.

Like Canadian Wind, I haven't had any duck eggs since early fall. Same for peacocks and guinea fowl. Lucky the chickens are at least providing a few.

I stand outside the runs and tell every freeloader that it is a good thing I like them.

Every year it is exciting to find the first ones.
