How many duck eggs did you get today?

Since our ducks started laying the end of February we’ve had 2 eggs every day. We only have two ducks. Any tips on how to keep the eggs clean?

Where do they lay? Is it possible to have them lay the farthest away from the door, so as they go to the nest mud and such sticks to the bedding and their feet get cleaned?
I free range a lot so I don't have a pool in the run, I have it out in the yard. I use a goat trough for water and have leaves for the run bedding, and pine shavings in the coop. As long as the bedding isn't too dirty the eggs stay clean.

Collected 5, but 6 ducks laid. One egg broke in the nest.

Thanks Tookie. We’ve just changed their bed, they’re now in a shed with horse matting on the floor. Think I need to put straw on the floor to keep it clean so they don’t track the poop into their nest.
