One of my muscovies is currently laying, and I've just decided to collect them for incubation. (shush! Not part of my plan, but plans change, right?)

A little late on the uptake, she's already laid 12, of which 5 are intact and incubation-ready. As they usually lay around 20 a time, that should leave 8 more, max. And the temp is getting lower by the day... Hope I'll manage to pick them up before they freeze!

I forgot to collect it this morning But it wasn't frozen solid when I finally remembered, so in the incubation pile it goes!

My Muscovy duck lays one egg every day despite having wet feather and shivering most of the time. I have another duck but she is too young to lay. Other than that I usually get 3 chicken eggs from my 4 chickens.

My other duck just started laying today, so I got 2 duck eggs.
