How many ducks do you have? Who has the most ducks? Do any of y'all have 50, 100, 150? How do you manage them all?

If you don't mind me asking what does your feed cost look like? Do you buy feed in bulk?

Sorry for the late response...we typically buy around a thousand pounds of feed at a time (twenty 50-lb bags). That costs around $250. I haven't been keeping good track lately of how fast we go through it but it's something like 20-25 pounds of feed a day.

My husband and I agreed that I would have a duck limit of six ducks. So, right now, I have 7 .

Now 8, but who is counting (except my husband).

I’ve got 12 ducks right now! Along with 29 chickens! I was pretty unlucky and ended up with 6 drakes and 6 ducks so we have to separate some of the drakes out around mating season etc but they actually do pretty well together. I’ve always got extra pens for if I need to pull some of the birds out of the flock for a bit.
