Yes, usually.

Some personalities clash, and drakes can kill a chicken hen trying to mate with her.

You do have to watch out for mating!!! especially with Muscovy's but so far it hasn't been a problem.

I have 5 Rouen x Khaki Campbells, but we have rehomed the 2 brown headed drakes so that we'll be left with 1 drake and 2 hens. I'm going to try to hatch out some of the duck eggs in the NYD contest in the hope of getting a few more hens.

Hi i have 3 call ducks they are very funny to watch. i let them out with my chicken's now. when my cockier spaniel goes out my chicken take no notice but my calls attack her and she ruin's away or hides behind me,
