12 of our show cochins eggs are due the 24th!! I just set 15 silkie eggs...I swore I would never have silkies but my daughter's grandma just LOVES them...and since she lives with my DD and helps take care of all the chickens, I thought I would surprise her with a bunch of silkie babies. She will be delighted!

Started with 30, removed 4 after candling last night, now have 26. They are Australorps and Easter Eggers and they are "due" New Years' Day or thereabouts.
