I am wondering cause she is about 6 or so inches from one side to the other and I want to put more eggs under her she is only on one egg.

How many are you wanting to put under there? Our banty sat on 12 eggs and she's tiny. She did a good job of spreading herself out to cover them. Out of the 12 we had 8 hatch.

There's one problem, though - you don't want to keep adding eggs. Do it all at once. There is a good chance momma will abandon the other eggs once one or two chicks hatch out.

I am curious about what the answer to this post is as well. I just had one of our young Bantys go broody this week. I felt so sorry for her sitting on the dummy plastic egg that I went out and found her some fertile eggs. These are the biggest eggs I've ever seen, and I gave her 7 of them. They seem to be sticking out a bit on the sides- is that ok? I guess with the weather being so warm right now, it won't matter too much if she's not covering 100%, right? I don't want to give her too many and have them suffer as a result.
