I just came in from putting the girls to bed and had to carry a flashlight in one hand and all six eggs in the other... it was quite precarious!

So, I'm wondering: How many chicken eggs DO / CAN you (or a member of your family) successfully carry in one hand for about 20 yards?

6 is for sure my limit... and even then I was a bit worried!

My wife... probably about 3 or 4. My daughter... I like her to have only one in each hand!

Ooohhh... good point! Just in your hand!

I had 4 acting as the base and two on top.

When I have to carry more than that I either stick some in the pockets or if there are a bunch I roll up the front of my t-shirt and carry them in there.

I'm a women with big hands, I can usually do 6 in one hand and 1 to 2 in the other. I slipped the other day when carrying them in and bruised my knees very badly but saved the 5 in the one hand, crushed the 1 in the other.
