Finally things are looking up. We got 24 big brown ones from our 29 GC's yesterday. It's the first time in weeks we've exceeded the normal 22 we've been getting. I think the warmer weather has something to do with it. I'm like, so ready for spring. All weekend we were working in the garden. We got peas planted and the trellis set up for them plus we've prepared the beds for 2 rows of 60 feet each for potatoes. Teresa planted 3 trays of lettuce, swiss chard, and leeks and got them under the grow lites inside. In a couple of weeks once the young plants are up we're transferring them to the new cold frame I've built.
Nothing better than spring time and gardening. Next I've got to build 2 more beehives giving up a total of 4 hives. The goal is to have at least 20 hives on the property by the end of next year.
