YAY - We've had 3 eggs this morning from 4 hens.

We have had them 9 days now and they are very happy. BUT one of the hens is laying soft, squishy shell-less eggs - all she does is lay down all day, maybe walk around for a bit to eat, go nest in the nesting box a few times per day - I think she has a problem. The man said we could swap her, but she is sooo beautiful and has such a lovely, warm personality. Don't know what could be the problem. Any advice. (they have oyster shells and baked crushed egg shells daily - so it's not a calcium problem)

I got 2 yesterday from our 2 hens. I can't wait til the chicks are bigger and start laying.

Got 5 eggs yesterday out of 5 birds that are laying including my first from one of my BLRWs (7 1/2 months old.)

I thought she would never start. Still have one BLRW (same age as the other) and one EE only 20 weeks old yet to start. 5 out of 7 not too shabby.
