How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

We're averaging around 40 eggs a day now.

Broke our house record last week when my daughter brought in fifty three. We're usually in the high forties right now.

And selling everything we can produce.

Help! I have tried everything I know and still no eggs. My hens (I have a variety of layers and ages, 40 + birds) quit laying altogether about 6 weeks ago and show no signs of starting again. What makes this more than just the winter blues is that my friend and I buy all of our birds together and then just randomly split them up. His haven't even broken stride. We treat them exactly the same. Please do not recommend old Sinatra recordings. My wife would commit me if I be doing that.

Very nice and sunny today. It got up to 51F today, but a little windy.
The hens didn't get to far away from the barn, they just seem to lay aroung in the sun.
