Yesterday we got 3 extremely large eggs from our BSL's. We already had one from the previous day and we've gotten one here and there for the past few weeks but we got 3 yesterday. Here's a pic of Teresa holding all four of them:




There were a couple of hens passed out from exhaustion over in the corner of the coop...

Woohoo! Days are slowly getting longer and our cold snap is over for now. we had a dusting of snow last night and more predicted for tomorrow but daytime temps are in the 30s. Numbers are up to almost normal again. 6,5 and then 7 today!

Citychickx6- I think a human trap is the answer, home alone style! Then they will think twice before trying anything again.
