How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

It's basically a teenage rooster. A pullet is a teenage hen.

And they can get feisty.
I raised one, he took care of "HIS" girls. Should have seen him put the old hens in their place when I placed him in the big pen.
He defended his girls against them too.

So far, one egg today, from Red.
Hope the heat does not slow them down too much.Upper 90's to low 100's...

Do golden sebrights, Phoenixs, and red Pyle old English game lay good??? And with pulled when do they start laying.?? I here 6-7 months but not sure???? :/

Well, today they all laid early, 3 of 3.

Austra laid hers in the second nest.

Dunno what was up yesterday, only the one to be found

0/5 yesterday and 2/5 today. I'm hoping my girls get it going tomorrow. I know who laid the first egg because I was there but a huge, brown egg showed up this afternoon and I have no clue who laid it.

I get 2 eggs from 5 girls(spmetimes none!). Any advice I can get to improve this?

4 from 3???? How did that happen? I cleaned and fluffed nest boxes when I put them to bed at 7 PM last night after only 1 egg in morning. Usually is 2 or 3.

Got home from Worship this afternoon to find 4!!!!!!!!! Now since they are locked in (so no visitors could have come) where did a 4th egg come from? I thought they didn't lay late evening! Well no complaints..... but didn't expect to ever get 4 eggs with only 3 chickens.

Sounds like you had a girl lay two! It's totally possible. And as for when they lay, I've collected my last egg after 7pm because some of my girls just take forever to get to it

I was 3 for 3 today. So glad, they had a little protest when I brought home 2 pullets. I thought they might be hiding them somewhere, but turns out they were just holding a 3 day protest.
