Sure, come on in...

JFTR, tuesday, I got 3 for 3 eggs.
yesterday, Wednesday, only one egg.
But I think i need to see about making it more snake resistant, as I saw a snake tuesday out front.

we had to take two days away from home, so we danced to encourage laying... it worked!

we came home to 33/40!
today we're still waiting for a few who are sitting... but we have 8/20

Hmm only got 2/7 yesterday usually get 7 daily. I have 10 ladies but three are separated so they don't count right now. BUT I have 4 five month old chickies. And I have a sneaky feeling that one is starting to lay because I checked them all and 1 is wide enough today! 1 of the 2 eggs I got was kinda funky! Fingers crossed! But sadly 1of the 3 I separated I found s not laying at all!

12/20, but I should probably be limiting to 19... Ms Broody is still very attached to her chicks and not laying regularly at all.

2/6 by my sex link and one of my OEGBs. my bantams are poor layers. Luckily I have 3 red sex links getting close to laying I hear they're non-stop. And 3 barred rocks are they good layers?

i have 23 hens and only get 12 eggs a day...that has been routine now for about 2 months.....any suggestions why? we gpt 19 of them from an established farmer....he never told me how any of them are!

I have noticed that my lady that I found to be not laying is constantly staying by herself. She only eats and drinks when the others are outside of the coop. Could possibly be depressed? Surly she couldn't be missing being in a cage by herself? I thought maybe broody even without chicks or rooster around but I'm just not sure anymore she is a white rock
