Today I actually had to buy store bought eggs for the first time in over a year. I hope they aren't too bland and yucky.

8/10 yeah yesterday I got 9/10 a new layer yesterday!!! now I have 10 layers it was her first a standard blue cochin-she laid a huge shell-less egg. I waited to show all the family and pin pricked it open to find a perfect egg that was fertile! she laid her first real hard shelled egg today yeahhh

only 21 more hens to go -lol...

I got 3 white eggs today, one smaller and not in the nest box - HOUDINI IS FINALLY LAYING.

In other news, Queenie took the day off.

So that makes 3 out of 4 now! woot!
