I got one egg;although it was weird!! They are just beginners!!

I have 12 new hens from this may but have not exceeded 10 eggs a day, usually 6-8. Are some hens just not laying? Any suggestions to determine who is laying?

Not all my chickens lay the same day... some are every other day, or so. We have 29 girls... but out of them our 2 EEs havent started laying yet, 1 BO went broody and hatched chickies, our 2 bantams give us about 3 eggs each a week... so we have get anywhere from 20 -24 eggs in a day.
