How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

First time since they started laying in June ZERO eggs this morning

Weather is getting colder so maybe that is it. Only 4 yesterday and we usually get an average of 8 out of 10.

1/7 My FIRST egg! I was so excited I jumped up and down!!!

Here's a picture with a large egg from the store for comparison. My 20 week old Barred Rock put it right in the nest box this morning next to the golf ball!

Well, finally 18/18 that's about the best I could hope for.....this time though, I had been out of town for 2 days, the hens had stayed in the coop since my wife had to work and she had gathered wednesday and I gathered today....maybe keeping them in the coop may be a necessity....
