I got 6 out of 7 today. My ameruacana laid two blues today, I got three browns and a new green one from my EE pullet.

We have growlers n screamers while in the laying boxes. So funny.

Our smallest white leghorn fluffs her feathers out so she looks twice her size and growls--LOUDLY! I didn't believe it until one of my sons took me out there to see her. Funniest thing !

1/6 So far actually 2 because they broke one of them  does anyone know how to stop them from braking there eggs

Golf balls in their nesting areas works well. Occasionally you'll still find one broke cause they step on them accidentally. Good luck. Oh, and we have 2-3 golf balls in each nest.

Most of our pullets fluff up huge and make some sort of angry-get-away-from-my-box-noises. The screamers are more like a very high pitched shrill. They make a soft purr type sound when it's me though. I don't get screamed at, only other birds. They are funny and protective of their spots. We have six boxes in two rooms, but they really only like 3 which are in the same room. Silly girls.
