I have 8 Buckeye hens- generally they lay 6 per day, although I had an 8 egg day the other day! On average, the 8 hens lay about 41 eggs per week. Needless to say, I have a lot of happy friends who get free eggs from me ;-) Today's count was 6.

Well, I had 2 eggs in the nest box and it is much to dark to go hunting in the yard to see if the 3rd egg is hidden or if it was just a 2 egg day from my 3 hens.
I'll have to look for it Friday night as I work both jobs tomorrow and it will be too dark again when I get home.
