My girls slowed down again. :( 22 yesterday, only 19 today. Cloudy and snowy apparently = break time, even with a light in their coop for a few hours at night for the 14 hour limit. And more storms coming....

You might say that in CA, but in WV it is still colder than h***!!!!!

But I have spent my time in the cold in my day's and that is why as I get older I wish to
be warm and for cold I did a stent in Korea and 6 years in Germany and sometime in
Kentucky and I have never had a desk job in my life or worked in a building always or
for the most part in a tent or sleeping on the ground so I would be racked with pain in
the claimant you so get to enjoy today and yes I do ivy you for being able to take such
temp's as you get to have green stuff around you and if you look around the photos of
my birds that is all I see for a several hour drive heading towards Bakersfield Ca. Oh
that is West of us ....

What do you thing of the brush ...

I wish you a nice cool winter and a warm welcome to come out and visit
us in June July or August even if the temp's get down to 110* F in the evenings
and you have to have socks on your feet at least to walk on the carpet

Sunday 6/8
Monday 5/8 One broke.... so 4 eggs brought in
We put in a new nesting box system for them in anticipation of all the new layers I have coming up next month, they scratched the hay in a neat circle and are laying directly onto the wooden bottom.. I added a bunch of pine shavings this morning with the hay in hopes it would help
