one tiny brown egg. Our girls are almost 5 months and 2 ameracauna and one RIR are laying now ( out of 3 amers and 7 RIRs). It seems normal to have a lot of variation in times of day and whether or not they lay an egg. Does this continue into maturity, or do they become "regular"?

2/7. This is so frustrating. My pullets are sure taking their time - 4 started laying, but only one BR lays every day. At this rate, I'm going to have to get more chickens!

0, zip, none, nadda, nothing for the past 3 days! also going through a hard hard molt. it's sad not finding any eggs

Chickenstalker, I'm on the way there, I thought we were only going to get one today, but someone laid a late one. 2/14, I can see the day coming when there are none.....when do they start to lay again after a molt, I thought I'd heard February, when the light is on the way back?

Yesterday I was at the hospital with my daughter (surgery) so granddaughter collected 9 eggs. Today I went to the coop 3 times and collected a total of 9 eggs again.
