5/10 lost my 1st egg it some how got broke in the top nest cleaned both nest since it leaked down on the bottom one and cleaned coop I am not sure how it got broke if it was steped on or what, has anyone had this happen to them

14/23 down a little today but still not bad for a bunch of ol' molty hens. I've got to say my girls give 'em h...l, always have. And that's why they're still around. I've done some pretty serious culling the last few years to get my laying line to be mostly good layers.

Hopefully this spring I'll be able to sell some of their babies, kinda help out with the winter feed bill.

Yesterday 2/4 today 4/4 I treated them too a batch of crickets and they happily rewarded me....

9/10 One massive egg. Won't even fit in the box.

We are up to 7 now out of 22 pullets first timers. Hubby thinks there is another nest somewhere. But these are laid in nestbox.

2 out of 24 pullets. They started at 16 weeks tho, and are now at 19 weeks. Pretty sure both current layers are buff comets.
