2 from 4! And I noticed my EE checking out the nest box several times today. She was being rather rude though as my NH was in there ACTUALLY laying an egg and my EE kept interrupting her. If only my BA would use the nest box also!

Looks like her mom's *the EE*. Pea comb, I think. She's skittish and hard to photograph right now. Looks like a welsummer hen but with muffs and a pea comb.

I'm not home and wont be all day so i asked my neighbor to get my eggs because I don't want them out all day in this heat. She msgd me saying she's never seen that color egg before. I said what color is it and she said a greenish color. Yay a my EE laid a green egg... so that makes 3/4 today. Now my Barred Rock just needs to get with the program!
