About 25 to 30 for 44 hens. Mixed ages of 25 weeks, 1 and 2 year old birds. Barred rocks, Easter eggers, mixed breed br/ee, a few ri reds and 2 jersey giants.

Barring predation events, we have been lucky enough to average somewhere over an egg every other day per bird. The two year olds slow us down a bit but they're great birds and produce huge eggs. We just got back into that production range recently as our pullets are all now starting to lay. We willl be in the mid 30s per day soon

Another new one today. That makes 4 layers out of 28. Woo hoo! Even the fact that Midnight's broke or got pecked into doesn't bother me today.

Received 9/23. I believe molting is finally coming to an end.

21/26 no slow down here in eastern ontario, it's chilly here leaves are falling and the chickens are all starting to lay 3 new layers today!
