Still getting an egg a day from my new layer. Amazing hen! (I didn't think they could lay every day for two weeks straight without a day off). One of my marans squatted when I pet her yesterday so I might very well get a dark brown egg before spring after all

zero yesterday. its been dropping to the 20s and barely reaching the 40s, and i stole the light from their coop for the new chicks, so I am sure they are rebelling.
