How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

All of ours have names,my Grandson named them,the only ones with out names are the 3 red sex links,i cant tell them apart,so i call them the Dinosaurs.They are great layers get 3 large brown eggs a day from the 3 of them everyday.

All 10 of my birds are named. I got them when I started my chemo so we became very close very quick. Still have no idea witch bird lays what egg just happy to get the eggs. Really don't care for the taste of store bought....lol

My birds are "penned up" lately due to the cold weather and the snow.i let them free range all last summer and the egg yolks were a nice dark yellow color,i can taste the difference in the taste now that all they eat is mash, i do feed mine organic laying mash,man that stuff is expensive,40.00 for a 50lb bag of it?.You should see them when i give them some old crusts of bread,it is like a rugby game in there,1 guy has the ball and 10 more are after him for it,it is great for a laugh to see them do that.
