I know!!!!!!! It was her FIRST EGG and it is enourmous, almost the size of the 11 month old's Red star egg!!! She is a big healthy girl though, she is bigger than both of her parents.

Yes that will be the one I get when the coop changes. I popped the door open to the run and have never closed it. Nice and secure.

One of my EE started laying in January at 8+ months, her eggs are bigger than my Gold Comet who has been laying since august, I was worried that this would damage her, but so far she is fine.

well today i got 6 eggs out of 20 hens so getting better

12 eggs today, all but 1 hen laid an egg in the EE coop (7/8) and 5/8 from the mostly older girls.
