How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

2 white (everyone laid an egg)
1 banty (My one and only Banty laid her egg)

I've been off here for several days because of being so busy with company! I hope I can catch up later tonight.

13 --- most exciting day here, though, as we got our first egg from the babies we hatched last fall and it's a beautiful little olive egg!!!!



The picture doesn't do it justice! Those are our two usual Easter Eggs in the mix as well. I am REALLY hoping the tiny egg is just a glitch from one of our older girls and not a first egg from the other baby (sister to OE), because I am REALLY hoping both lay olive!

They're finally getting back into the swing of things after the nasty winter!

Look like the girls finally told Jack Frost to take a hike.... I got 7/7 yesterday but when I went to put them up I found the dog lose, the rooster pinned against the fence... ( got happy for a moment. Thought the dog had killed the evil *€£%#!!!)

But he jumped right up and went into the coop and was crowing this morning fine and dandy...

The dog has a new harness so hope that won't happen again... I guess watching evil bird attack me last time was to much... She didn't touch the girls. Just evil bird... Go figure
