Sell them. I have more......a lot more than the hens that are laying. 40 that are 4 months old, 20 that are 10 weeks old, 13 that are 4 weeks old and 11 that are 2 weeks of age.

I heard of this phenomenon called chicken math, but never experienced it. Oh I forgot the 10 goose eggs and 30 chicken eggs in my bators.

I'm lucky enough to not fall for that .... Yet.....

Ok ok... I'll admit I have a broody sitting on a nest of some eggs right now but that's only because I was gone one weekend, my husband never checks the coop and I found a nest of 4 that were already showing signs of growth.....

That's my story and I'm sticking to it... Let's not mention the fact that I've slipped a few others in that nest JUST for control eggs

11 today. About right on target for half each day.

Future layers in brooder 71 chicks so when everything averages out I'll add about 5 layers because that's probably all the pullets that hatched. At least that's always my luck.... Haha 5/66 ratio.
