How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

4 eggs from 8 hens 2 littles...chickens not eating well last 2 days...not sure why appear healthy, not mites, not egg bound ect

so i have to change my count. went to put the flock back into the run and coop tonight (around 6) and got all but one in the coop. Couldn't find the other hen.

We found her, hunkered down in some tall grass sitting on an egg. She just laid an egg. So we got 10 out of 10 today.

Been getting pretty regular 4/6 but lost one of our best layers today. She came stumbling out of horse stall and when I went to check on her she was very weak and extremely prolapsed. Think maybe horse stepped on her. She died in my arms while I was trying to figure out what to do. Really odd part is that we had just finished cleaning up after processing our 2 excess roos. Had to get everything out and start all over again. Went from 9 chickens in the yard to 6 in yard and 3 in fridge. Reverse chicken math.

I hate that when someone losses one... I just set 18 eggs yesterday to add to my flock that already has doubled in the last month...
Went from 8 birds... 7 hens, 1 rooster to 10 more babies...

13 eggs yesterday & 11 eggs today. I am currently overrun with chicks! I have 13 in 1 brooder & 16 in another brooder (8 of which are meaties).
