9/23 down quite a bit from usual but I've been expecting this to happen anyway as my older hens are just really starting into their molt, I don't know why mine waits so late to start but they always have. Seems like when the weather starts getting really nasty they start up.

Anyway should've had 10 today but found the remains of a broken one, and this happens every so often and I'm glad I don't have it happen more often.

4 out of 12 today and most of the girls are close to POL!!! Wow, did one of them make a racket today wanting to lay, lol!
I'm only sad because we're going on vacation this week and I'm going to miss a lot of the laying!

Maybe they'll miss me and go on strike.

This is SO cool, I don't want to miss it!!
