None yet today but one of my hens is acting she needs to but keeps not laying it. lol I have 6 hens and only 1 is laying so far. I keep praying someone else will join her but she is on neurotic chicken, she squawk and squawks but she paces and paces. Moves from nesting box to nesting box. The other girls are just quietly hanging out in the run for them most part. Tempted to put a privacy screen in front of the boxes.

Excuse me, but I just have to ask; why do you use the possessive form of the word, "egg", instead of the plural? You know, like 1 egg (singular), 2 eggs (plural), the egg's color (possessive). You do it consistently, so I knew it was intentional, rather than accidental. Plus, putting in the apostrophe is a nuisance, so you wouldn't do it if you didn't mean to.

Enquiring minds just HAFTA know!

PS. Oh, yeah. I'm getting 3/8 pretty regularly, lately, so am wondering if the girls are getting ready to molt. It's getting to be that time of year.

Well I guess I just do it because I don't know better But I can tell you this I joined the Military when I was old enough to reach the trigger and spent 18 years 10 months 25 days in the infantry and in the last year I was sent to the J 3 to work after being hurt then sent home because I was not a writer and really very little computer skills so I was given 100% compensation for being disabled in the line of duty so in short I am not an English Major ....

Oh. Well, that would explain it. Just a helpful hint, save yourself some aggrevation and time by dropping the apostrophe. It's not necessary when you're only indicating "more than one".

As a side note, you have my admiration for being able to live in that heat! What are the winters like?
