Yesterday was 4/5. So far today only 1, but it's still early. Daylight here has dropped off to 10 1/2-11hrs, but so far laying hasn't dropped much thankfully.
Now that we've discovered (and eliminated) outside nests, we're regularly getting 10-14 eggs per day from our 22 hens. Keep in mind that 10 of the girls were obtained a year ago as adults of undetermined age, so I think many of them are through laying. We have 12 chicks scheduled to arrive around the first of March, so next fall we sill transfer the older gals to the freezer where they can provide us meat instead of eggs.
