Not sure of it was a drop or internal crack. There looks to be extra pigment in the cracks making me think it was internal, but there is also a pressure crack in the middle I found when candling it that makes me think it was a drop. My hound dog might get some raw egg with dinner tonight...

14 eggs today. I have 1 hen who was laying an egg daily for several months and now I have gotten en egg from her in about 2 weeks. She looks good from a distance except that her comb and wattles have gotten very pale. I can't catch her until dark. I'll have to get her off the roost bar. I am wondering if it could be worms, mites, or something else. Any ideas?

15 eggs. Hen doesn't seem to have mites or lice, so I'm leaning towards worms, unless anyone has different suggestions. I also assume if she has them, then so do the rest of her coop mates. Such a drag having to lose out on all those lovely eggs the rest of the coop is laying once I start worming them. Sigh...
