How Many Eggs Did You Get Today?

That is what also happened to my grandmother and she was only 85 yrs old in 1987 but a person can only have so many strokes and soon they are just trapped in their bodies ..

But it sounds like every one is having or had the same kind of problems and when I was young I just never figured I would live so long having so much fun and even jumping out of aircraft just for the pure enjoyment or work on average I should have not gotten so old now I am looking to be like all the others in the hospital I have known .

Gander, my mom is 80 years old, she'll be 81 in July. She is refusing to talk to family & friends, well, she'll talk to family when we go see her, but she won't answer most phone calls or texts & she doesn't answer them. That is a huge change for her. I'm going out tomorrow ( Sunday) to see her at the rehab center. My brother & 1 of our nieces went to see here today. I am hoping she will be able to regain at least a part of her independance.
Is the VA talking about having you go to stay? My parents had a plan in place for what to do when one of their health failed, but I don't know if they will really follow it now. They had talked about selling their house and moving into a retirement/assisted living facility.

karenerwin, penny1960 prayers and hugs still for both of you. so sorry you are getting crap from the insurance company.I remember my Dad having to deal with all the red tape when my Grandmother was put in Assisted Living, and the loops he went through. Dad found her Diabetes Diary was starting to be off and she was forgetting everyday habits. She agreed to go thankfully and lived there for 10 yrs with a wonderful care team. I pray God guides you and gives you strength during this. Gander I pray you feel better as well, I hope the VA is doing all they can.

14 eggs on Saturday. I currently have 14 dozen eggs in my house! Someone is stopping by on Sunday to buy 5 dozen of them. I've even cooked up a dozen for the chickens. I need to find out the hours of the local food pantry, I'm sure they could use some.

and usually very welcome receiver

Any residential facilities in my state would not allow any eggs to be brought in. They only use pasteurized eggs per state regs. Nor would they even allow local garden produce, instead serving up tasteless veggies from big vendors.
